Our Montreal based client is seeking for an experienced Bilingual Data Stage ETL Developer to join their project immediately and will run until December 2026, with possibility of an extension. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in BI modeling, ETL development, and dashboard design and Hands-on experience with DataStage is essential for developing and maintaining the data pipelines that power our analytics and reporting. This will be a hybrid role with the exact amount of on-site scheduled days to be confirmed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop integration workstream for the modernization of core banking systems, ensuring technical solutions support future business needs.
- Design, develop, and maintain secure and auditable data integration workflows (ETL/ELT) to consolidate data from legacy and modern systems.
- Ensure all data processes and outputs comply with Anti-Money Laundering (AML), tax evasion (FATCA/CRS), and other relevant financial regulations.
- Implement and monitor data quality rules, validation checks, and reconciliation processes to guarantee the integrity and accuracy of critical financial data.
- Develop and execute a proactive change management plan for data-related system updates, including impact analysis, stakeholder communication, and user training.
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for data integration, facilitating effective coordination between business stakeholders, compliance teams, and IT departments.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data models, integration workflows, and compliance controls to support audits and knowledge transfer.
- Continuously optimize data pipelines and workflows for performance, reliability, and scalability within the modernized banking environment.
