Our Vancouver based client is seeking for an experienced ERP Finance Data Consultant to join their project on a 18 month employment contract, with possibility of an extension. The ideal candidate will have 8–10 years of experience in data governance, data migration, enterprise transformation, finance, and mining, supported by a strong accounting background. This is a hybrid role with a requirement to be on-site 3 days per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the migration of 7 legacy systems into SAP, ensuring data integrity and completeness.
- Support the development and implementation of the client data governance framework for the assigned data domain.
- Improve benchmarks across data migration, governance, and reporting activities to achieve business objectives.
- Collaborate with counterparts (e.g. data leads and process leads) within R2R and other functions to ensure data alignment.
- Coordinate data mapping logic creation and support development of load programs through ADMM tool (SAP ADMM by Syniti)
- Co-lead mock load and verification processes, including template creation and execution oversight.
- Contribute to and review Business Process Documents (BPDs) for all in-scope data processes (CRUD).
- Review and Data Object Master and Data Conversion Program Functional Specifications.
- Provide input on the future state Report Master List (RML) and participate in data architecture definition.
- Lead planning and delivery of reporting-related activities across the Transformation program.
