Our Vancouver based client is seeking for an experienced ERP Finance Data Specialist to join their team on a full time permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have 8–10 years of experience in data governance, data migration, or enterprise transformation. Along with a CPA or CPG designation, including proven extensive data migration experience on large-scale projects. With a strong background in data governance, data analytics, finance, mining and SAP user experience. This will be a hybrid role with 3 day on-site per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the migration of 7 legacy systems into SAP, ensuring data integrity and completeness.
- Support the development and implementation of the client data governance framework for the assigned data domain.
- Improve benchmarks across data migration, governance, and reporting activities to achieve business objectives.
- Collaborate with counterparts (e.g. data leads and process leads) within R2R and other functions to ensure data alignment.
- Coordinate data mapping logic creation and support development of load programs through ADMM tool (SAP ADMM by Syniti)
- Co-lead mock load and verification processes, including template creation and execution oversight.
- Contribute to and review Business Process Documents (BPDs) for all in-scope data processes (CRUD).
- Review and Data Object Master and Data Conversion Program Functional Specifications.
- Provide input on the future state Report Master List (RML) and participate in data architecture definition.
- Lead planning and delivery of reporting-related activities across the Transformation program.
