ESG Support Systems Analyst

Job Description

Our Toronto client is seeking an ESG Support Systems Analyst to join their project immediately which is initially scheduled to run for six months with the possibility of extension. This will be a hybrid work setting and all candidates must be able to work on-site 2-3 days per week. 

  • The ESG Support Systems Analyst will be responsible for the support and maintenance several applications as well as analyzing, implementing, supporting and upgrading the software.
  • This role will be a dedicated resource to users to ensure timely resolution and provide exclusive support in their day-today operations.
  • The analyst will also support technology related initiatives or tasks on an as needed basis, and act as a back up to team members when necessary.

Applications Support (70%):

  • Ensures that the Systems are setup and configured to effectively streamline the need of AEM.
  • Develop reports and dashboards.
  • Understand user needs and proactively provide solutions.
  • Perform development, documentation, test and implementations phases.
  • Manage software patches as required.
  • Provide support and training to users.
  • Grant and update users security roles.
  • Support interfaces related to ESG.
  • Validate data and fix errors.
  • Keep support and projects documentation up to date.

Analysis (30%)

  • Actively supporting IT projects, (mostly related to ESG).
  • Provide back up support to team members as required.
  • Participate in technology initiatives and projects as required.

Job Requirements

  • Work experience in mining industry, Health & Safety, or Environment is an asset.
  • Experience of working with ESG applications.
  • Successful completion of post-secondary education in computer science or demonstrated aptitude/experience in technology support.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
  • A self-starter with the creativity to solve problems both independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to learn new concepts, systems, and software independently and quickly.
  • Proven ability to work with all levels of an organization.
  • Must be able to communicate with non-technical and technical users simultaneously. 
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with the capability to produce clear and effective documentation.
  • Demonstrated sound technical judgment and make important decisions in a timely manner.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and security.

Additional Information

Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
