Our Alberta-based client is seeking an SAP S/4HANA Central Finance Consultant with strong knowledge of IS-Oil & Gas to support a one-month project with the possibility of an extension. The ideal candidate will focus on legal entity change initiatives and provide financial systems expertise in the SAP S/4 Central Finance environment, supporting strategic integration and transformation objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on consulting and SAP S/4HANA Central Finance (CFIN) configuration expertise.
- Collaborate with the client’s finance transformation teams to support legal entity restructuring.
- Deliver Oil & Gas industry domain expertise, ensuring alignment with the client’s project delivery standards.
- Conduct impact assessments and assist in developing migration/integration strategies.
- Support functional design, issue resolution, and client knowledge transfer.
- Lead workshops with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define functional specifications, and validate solution designs.
- Configure and test SAP S/4HANA CFIN modules, including document posting, master data harmonization, and real-time replication.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, working closely with technical teams to ensure seamless financial data flow.
- Support change management efforts by creating training materials and conducting end-user training sessions.
- Document technical and functional designs, process flows, and configuration details for knowledge transfer and audit purposes.
- Provide post-go-live hypercare support, addressing critical issues and ensuring stabilization of the CFIN environment.
- Stay updated on SAP S/4HANA CFIN innovations and recommend process improvements to enhance financial reporting and operational efficiency.
