Our Toronto based client is seeking an experienced SAP Solution Architect to join their organization on a permanent full-time basis. All candidates must be able to work on-site initially for 4 days a week, however, this requirement may change as the project progresses.

• The SAP Solution Architect will play a central role in our technological advancement and business transformation.
• This is a trusted SAP technical expert with very strong business acumen that will help drive the creation of a coherent technology roadmap as well as the execution of architectural blueprints to drive end-to-end/enterprise efficiencies.
• The SAP Solution Architect is a transformation champion who stays current with technology trends as well as industry norms and leading practices.
• The SAP & IBP Solution Architect will also play a key people leadership role by developing, enabling, and empowering the SAP technical team to deliver our business objectives; while fostering a highly collaborative and cohesive team.
• Technical Leadership: Provide thought leadership and direction for end-to-end SAP architecture, guiding decisions based on industry standards and best practices.
• Leverage enterprise and cross-functional understanding to define optimal solutions & processes leading to tangible business results.
• Drive business transformation and efficiency through the development of leading practices/processes and tools.
• Analyze business requirements (e.g., functional and technical requirements, information need, business processes) by conducting information-gathering sessions with key stakeholders, analyzing the information and being able to document an accurately understand the business requirements and mapping those to SAP business processes & solutions.
• Develop proof of concepts to showcase functional solutions to the key business partners.
• Coach SAP Solutions Owners and help with the configuration of SAP modules as needed [with emphasis in the lines of business of Manufacturing, R&D and Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics & Warehousing]. Creation of functional specs and training documents.
• Collaborate effectively with key business decision makers and end users to resolve issues.
• Provide user support and deliver SAP training to client end-users on current and new functionality.

• 8 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree om Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Continuous Improvement certification is a plus (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt); SAP systems architecture.
• Certifications in SAP modules and TOGAF are a strong asset.
• SAP certification of modules related to the relevant domain areas is a strong asset.
• Familiar with SAP Fiori is highly preferred.
• Familiar with SAP Analytic Cloud is highly preferred.
• Can expertly bridge the business and technical (ERP-related) subjects within the areas of focus.
• Strong background and deep business knowledge of the relevant Business Process Domain.
• Experience working with SAP S/4 HANA, SAP IBP modules, and other SAP platforms relevant to the business domain as well as a robust understanding of overall ERP end to end processes.
• Experience leading and managing people.
• Must have outstanding project management skills; ability to define a detailed project plan, manage resources, articulate and resolve outstanding issues, and manage project schedule.
• Experience in developing and nurturing trustworthy relationships; demonstrated ability to align functional/domain priorities with enterprise priorities.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills; ability to effectively get ideas across and get buy in from all levels of the organization.
• 8+ years of experience in SAP systems and their architecture.
