Systems Integration Engineer Specialist (Utilities)

Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Systems Integration Engineer to join their project immediately on a long-term contract. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience focused on integration projects, including Java development, scripting in languages like Bash or Perl, working with Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) systems, and a deep understanding of API functionality. This is a hybrid role, with the specific number of on-site days to be confirmed.

Preferred Experience:

  • Salesforce Integration Experience.
  • Experience with Globalscape or MOVEit managed file transfer (MFT) solutions.
  • Experience with Cloud Identity Services, Security setup for production.
  • Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud.
  • Middleware experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement system integration solutions.
  • Develop and maintain Java applications for integration projects.
  • Create and optimize scripts (e.g., Bash, Perl) to automate processes.
  • Manage and troubleshoot SFTP file transfers and integrations.
  • Develop, consume, and manage APIs to connect disparate systems.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure seamless end-to-end integration.

Additional Information

  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
