Our Toronto based client is seeking an Oracle CCB Cutover Manager to join their project starting end of January and will run until May 2026. This will be a hybrid work setting with occasional on-site work required.
- The Oracle CCB Cutover Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the cutover activities required to transition from legacy systems to Oracle CCB.
- The role ensures minimal disruption to business operations and collaborates closely with project managers, business analysts, technical teams, and stakeholders to guarantee a seamless system transition.
- This position is pivotal in the final stages of project implementation, focusing on readiness, execution, and post-transition assessments.
Cutover Planning:
- Develop detailed cutover plans with tasks, timelines, resources, and dependencies.
- Identify risks and create mitigation strategies.
- Align cutover activities with project managers and stakeholders.
Pre-Cutover Activities:
- Conduct readiness assessments and prepare systems for transition.
- Execute mock cutover tests to validate plans.
- Create and distribute communication plans to inform stakeholders of schedules and impacts.
Cutover Execution:
- Manage and oversee cutover tasks to ensure adherence to the plan.
- Coordinate resources and monitor progress during the cutover window.
- Address real-time issues and deviations.
Post-Cutover Activities:
- Verify system functionality and data integrity.
- Conduct post-cutover assessments and resolve identified issues.
- Document lessons learned for future process improvement.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with technical teams to execute cutover activities.
- Provide stakeholders with updates on progress, issues, and resolutions.
- Facilitate meetings and ensure alignment across teams.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of cutover plans, procedures, and outcomes.
- Generate reports summarizing activities, issues, and resolutions.
- Provide updates to project managers and key stakeholders.
