Our Vancouver-based client is seeking an experienced S/4HANA Reporting & Analytics Business Analyst (Embedded Analytics, CDS Views, SAP Fiori & SAP Business Data Cloud) contractor to join their project immediately on a 12-month contract, with the possibility of an extension. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working primarily within the SAP S/4HANA ecosystem, including Embedded Analytics and SAP Business Data Cloud.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strong ability to understand business processes and articulate reporting requirements clearly.
- Proficiency in navigating and interpreting data models, especially within SAP systems.
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA Embedded Analytics, CDS Views, SAP Fiori, and SAP Business Data Cloud.
- Engage business users to elicit, document, and validate reporting requirements.
- Analyze business processes to identify reporting needs, KPIs, and appropriate data sources.
- Translate requirements into clear, complete, and testable functional specifications.
- Collaborate with data developers and BI teams to ensure technical specifications align with business needs.
- Support development and testing of reports by providing sample data, test scenarios, and validating outputs.
- Maintain traceability from business requirements through to final report delivery.
- Promote adoption of enterprise reporting tools by supporting training, demos, and knowledge sharing.
- Ensure reporting complies with internal data governance, privacy, and security policies.
