Our Toronto based client is seeking an experienced SAP Record-to-Report (R2R) Lead to join their project immediately and will run for 12 months, with possibility of an extension. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience as a lead in SAP Record to Report S/4HANA project implementations. This hybrid role comes with the expectation of weekly or bi-weekly travel (Monday night to Thursday EOD)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Record to Report (RTR) workstream for a large-scale SAP transformation, overseeing end-to-end finance process design and delivery.
- Own and define future-state RTR processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Financial Reporting, Period Close, and Intercompany Accounting.
- Facilitate fit-to-standard workshops, identify functional gaps, and define required configuration, enhancements, and integration requirements.
- Provide deep functional expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance, including Universal Journal, Parallel Ledgers, Financial Closing Cockpit, and S/4HANA reporting capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional workstream leads (OTC, PTP, Billing, Controlling, Project Systems, Treasury) to ensure integrated end-to-end business process alignment across the program.
- Utilities experience is a major asset.
