SAP Corporate Communications Lead

Job Description

Our Ontario based client is seeking an experienced SAP Corporate Communications Lead to join their project immediately and will run until December 31 2026, with possibility of an extension. The ideal candidate should have 5 to 7 years of experience in a Communications Lead role adept at developing communication strategies and plans with a background in communications whether through formal education or corporate communications experience is required. This is a hybrid role that requires working on-site 3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute on communication artifacts and large, visible events at the level as currently managed by our Corporate Communications Team.
  • Maintain communication calendars, feedback loops, execution protocols, and messaging frameworks for leadership, frontline, union, and other employee groups.
  • Develop and manage a communication and engagement strategy and plan aligned with the client’s communications lead and business teams.
  • Support management with content creation and design for enterprise and program communications, intranet, and SharePoint.
  • Alignment and Coordination with Corporate Comms and Enterprise Transformation Office (ETO).
  • Create and manage the visible face of the project for the company.
  • Manage the 30-60-90-day plan and ensure appropriate reporting at Executive/Sponsorship, ETO and Enterprise levels.
  • Deliver strategic multi-channel messaging tailored to stakeholder personas supporting project vision and brand.
  • Execute communication activities, including cut-over communications.
  • Build and support a change network by identifying champions with help of business leads.
  • Facilitate change network sessions monthly initially, increasing frequency to bi-weekly and weekly around Go-Live.
  • Prepare materials and toolkits to empower change champions by line of business.
  • Develop and drive the overall program messaging.
  • Experience SAP/S4 and Power & Utilities expertise is nice to have.
