Our Vancouver based client is seeking an experienced SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Lead to join their project on a long term contract. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP EAM, with mandatory experience in the Mining & Metals industry, including hands-on involvement in at least three (3) S/4HANA full-cycle implementations where EAM served as a core module and must be complemented by strong, practical expertise in EAM Phase Model Configuration and the RSH scheduling tool, as well as a solid understanding and applied experience with SAP Fiori apps for EAM. This is a hybrid role that requires working on-site 4 days every other week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage deep knowledge of asset lifecycle management to optimize processes in asset-intensive environments.
- Communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders to ensure alignment and project success.
- Support cross-module workstreams, including Reporting and Analytics, Integrations, and Security.
- Lead and execute EAM data migration activities to ensure accuracy and seamless system transitions.
- Configure and maintain SAP EAM master data, including technical objects, functional locations, equipment, and maintenance assemblies.
- Facilitate workshop sessions with client process owners to gather requirements and demonstrate SAP EAM best practices.
- Develop and deliver end-user training materials and provide post-go-live support.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and system optimizations to enhance asset reliability and maintenance efficiency.
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to design and implement enhancements, custom reports, and interfaces.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies through proper system controls and documentation.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience acting as a Functional Lead, Solution Lead, or EAM Lead on SAP implementations.
- Experience defining EAM standards, governance models, and deployment patterns.
- Exposure to large, complex integration landscapes involving legacy systems.
