Our Manitoba based client is seeking an experienced SAP Finance and Controlling FI/CO & RTR Consultant to join their team immediately and will run for 6 months with possibility of an extension. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience working with SAP Finance modules (RTR, GL, CO, AR, AP with AA experience preferred), as well as participation in multiple full life cycle SAP implementations required. This will be primarily remote work, but travel is expected 50–70% of the time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement advanced knowledge of SAP Finance and Controlling, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets and Cost Center Accounting.
- Implement SAP Finance and integrations to SD, PM, MM, and HR integrations to SuccessFactors.
- Lead business blueprint, gathering and documenting business requirements and designing SAP enabled solutions.
- Facilitate cross-functional team members with complex schedules against a published plan.
- Apply Team lead expertise stream planning, status reporting, managing governance, managing the team against the plan, escalating risks/issues/decisions/changes, budget management, etc.
- Develop project documentation including business process flows, test scenarios and scripts, training materials, requirements gathering and project management methodology experience required.
- Integrate with all aspects of financial accounting and cost controlling within an ERP system.
- Knowledge and experience implementing SAP Finance in Power & Utilities and/or Mining is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of financial reporting and consolidations with Group Reporting is an asset.
- Experience with SAP Treasury and Risk Management (TRM) is an asset.
