Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Contractor to join their project immediately for 18 months with possibility for extension. This will be primarily a fully remote work setting with the potential for occasional travel to the client site. Candidates must be able to work CST.

  • The ideal candidate will provide technical expertise to support the SAP version upgrade process, focusing on enhancements and system improvements.
  • Analyze, review, and resolve tickets, including SAP Payroll (Canadian Payroll) tickets ensuring high-quality and timely solutions in preparation for the SAP upgrade.
  • Support the SAP version upgrade by providing technical expertise on upgrades and enhancements.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with the upgrade to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Ensure that all customizations are compatible and optimized for the new SAP version.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, best practices, and guidelines for ABAP development.
  • Experience with Object-Oriented ABAP, SAP HANA, and SAP Fiori.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in ABAP development, with significant experience in SAP version upgrades.
  • Proven experience in reviewing and resolving complex ABAP issues in a production environment.
  • Strong understanding of SAP modules and their integration with ABAP.
  • Proficient in SAP ABAP programming, including reports ,forms, enhancement , interfaces and conversions.

 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology , or a related field.
  • Certification: SAP ABAP Required.
  • Minimun of ten (10) years of experience in ABAP issues in a production environment.
  • Strong understanding of SAP modules and their integration with ABAP.
  • SAP Payroll (Canadian Payroll).

Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
