Our Montreal based client is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join their project immediately and will run until June 2026, with possibility of an extension. The ideal candidate should have 8 + years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with a strong focus on hands-on classic ABAP development, proven experience supporting SAP rollouts (ideally in acquisition scenarios), and experience working with RICEF objects. This will be a fully remote work setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform hands-on classic ABAP development across core SAP modules.
- Support rollout activities for a newly acquired business unit.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Develop and enhance reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF).
- Collaborate with functional teams to ensure alignment with global SAP template.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during rollout and stabilization phases.
- Support testing, deployment, and post-go-live activities.
- Work independently in a remote, delivery-focused environment.
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is nice to have.
