Our client is currently seeking a SAP ABAP Developer contractor for a 3-5 month contract. This role will be fully remote except for the occasional meeting needed at the clients Toronto based office.

• The ideal candidate will bring expertise in SAP ABAP development, cross-functional collaboration.
• Execute ABAP programming and development tasks to support SAP MM and PP functionalities.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to understand requirements and deliver effective ABAP solutions.
• Contribute to the configuration of new sites and enhancements for existing sites.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration with other functional teams.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of business processes and align ABAP developments accordingly.
• Contribute insights to optimize business processes through technical solutions.
• Possess advanced technical knowledge in SAP ABAP development.
• Manage and actively participate in SAP projects, focusing on ABAP development tasks.
• Play a key role in rolling out SAP solutions to new sites and modifying existing sites.
• Work with SAP ECC, with a planned transition to S/4 HANA in 2026.
• Contribute to the preparation for the transition and ensure a smooth migration process.

• Proven experience as an SAP ABAP Consultant.
• Solid technical knowledge of SAP ABAP development.
• Familiarity with SAP ECC; experience with S/4 HANA is advantageous.
• Ability to work remotely and collaborate effectively with local and offshore teams.
• Willingness to travel to Toronto for occasional meetings.
