Our Calgary based client is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP MDG Developer to join their project immediately and will run initially for 6 months in duration with the possibility of a further extension. This will be primarily a fully remote work setting with the occasional travel required to the client site.
- The role requires knowledge of SAP MDG, in addition to standard ABAP skills SAP ABAP, Obj Oriented ABAP, Business Technology Platform.
- SAP MDG configuration and customization; understand the MDG data model, UI modeling, SAP rule-based workflows, and validations/derivation.
- Development of cross entity validation.
- Development of event-based triggers for MDG dynamic framework.
- Knowledge of how to develop custom enhancements, user exits, BADI/BAPI, BRF+ and data validations using ABAP within the MDG framework.
- Knowledge of SAP NetWeaver business client, Business workflow design, and SAP Fiori for UI development.
- Knowledge of SAP MDG data replication framework (DRF), understanding of data replication methods, such as ALE (Application Link Enabling), IDoc (Intermediate Document), and Web Services.
- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts, ability to design and implement data models for master data entities.
- Occasional travel required to Calgary.
