Our Montreal-based client is seeking an experienced SAP BASIS Consultant to join their project immediately start on a project scheduled to run until January 31, 2026, with a strong possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of demonstrated expertise in SAP BASIS operations, including project implementation, Transport Management, Solution Manager administration, integration with functional and development teams, and both SAP Cloud and Cloud ALM administration. This position is hybrid, requiring occasional travel to the client's office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for SAP BASIS Production and Non-Production ecosystems monitoring, support, evolution & maintenance activities.
- Responsible of EWA analysis and deployment of required corrections.
- Responsible of Periodic Kernel, HANA and other component upgrades initiatives.
- Responsible of SAP security patches and hot fix analysis and deployment.
- Planning and coordinating SAP related release updates and/or upgrades.
- Support of the multiple SAP instances that comprise the SAP ecosystems.
- SAP HANA database dimensioning & performance adjustments.
- Performance management monitoring and system tuning.
- Configuration, evolution and/or tuning of monitoring tools.
- Manage the SAP printing subsystem for all SAP instances.
- SOX & Security report activities for audit.
