Our Toronto based client is seeking an experienced SAP BTP/ABAP Consultant contractor to join their project starting immediately and will run for 3-6 months with a strong likelihood for a longer extension. This will be a hybrid work setting with 3 day's of on-site work required.
- The ideal candidate will have expertise in SAP BTP and ABAP to support our clients technical operations in financial and regulatory reporting, system integrations, and database management.
- The candidate will ideally have experience in SAP GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance).
- Build and manage financial and regulatory reports in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
- Hands-on experience with SAP GRC.
- Handle integration of SAC with S/4 HANA CDS views and BW systems.
- Maintain and optimize S/4 HANA database table structures.
- Functional understanding of financial reporting logic.
- Proficiency in ABAP programming for customization and enhancements.
- Experience with system updates and SAP note handling.
- Develop and refine different layers of CDS views and BW modeling for analytics and reporting.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Effective incident and ticket management skills.
- Capability to monitor system performance and address issues proactively.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with stakeholders and end-users.
- Team-oriented mindset for cross-functional support and collaboration.
