Our Toronto based client is seeking an experienced SAP BTP Developer Consultant to join their project immediately and will run for 6 months with potential for extension. This will be a remote work setting and candidates can be based anywhere in Canada.

• The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SAP’s Business solutions, such as SAP ECC and SAP S/4 HANA, and possess strong expertise in using development tools like CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and SAP UI5.
• The consultant will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and integrate SAP UX solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Develop and maintain mobile, Fiori, and web applications using CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, SAP UI5, and other relevant development tools.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into functional SAP UX solutions.
• Integrate SAP Business API with SAP UX solutions to enhance application functionality and user experience.
• Apply Design Thinking methodologies to create user-centric designs and innovative solutions.
• Utilize SAP Build Code to develop applications and extensions tailored to client needs.
• Explore and implement Generative AI-based code development using tools like Joule copilot to enhance development efficiency.
• Participate in the development of CAP (Cloud Application Programming) or RAP (RESTful Application Programming) when necessary.
• Leverage ABAP development skills for backend integration and custom enhancements.
• Use prototyping tools to create application prototypes and gather user feedback for continuous improvement.

• Minimum of 4 years in developing mobile, Fiori, and web applications using CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and SAP UI5.
• Solid understanding of SAP ECC, SAP S/4 HANA, and other SAP solutions.
• Familiarity with the Design Thinking process is essential.
• Experience in integrating SAP Business API with SAP UX solutions is highly desirable.
• Experience with Generative AI-based code development using tools like Joule copilot is a plus.
• Proficiency in developing applications and extensions using SAP Build Code is advantageous.
• Prior experience in CAP or RAP development is beneficial.
• Any prior experience in ABAP development would be a significant advantage.
• Experience using prototyping tools to create and test application prototypes is a plus.
