Our Toronto-based client is seeking an experienced SAP BW/IS-Retail Developer contractor to join their project starting May 1st, 2025 on a 6 month contract with a chance for extension. The consultant will help lead the design and implementation of SAP BW solutions, requiring strong expertise in SAP BW modeling, data extraction, and reporting, along with the ability to support complex analytics and integration projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• ECC-to-BW Integration Leadership.
• Design and document complete specifications for ECC-to-BW data flows.
• Implement custom solutions where standard extractors are inadequate.
• Build and maintain pipelines between SAP BW and Snowflake/other cloud platforms.
• Ensure optimal performance and data integrity in hybrid environments.
• BW Optimization & Operations.
• Model and maintain core BW objects (ADSOs, Composite Providers, InfoCubes).
• Troubleshoot and resolve data load/transformation issues.
• Implement performance tuning for queries and process chains.
• Cross-Functional Enablement.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Document all integration processes and data lineage.
• Support analytics teams in data consumption.
