Our Calgary based client is seeking an experienced SAP Basis Architect to join their project immediately. This will be a remote work setting with occasional travel required. 

• The ideal candidate will be a Basis Technical Lead, with experience in Brownfield implementations, RISE, migration from ECC to S/4, conversions, integrations, Cloud ALM, pre-sales activities, client demos, RFP responses as well as support Business units on delivery.
• Solution Design and Architecture: Participate in RFP responses by owning brownfield migration approach and architecture. Standardizing estimations for various scenarios and creative thinking is a must. Build run books for various Brownfield migration scenarios.
• Continuous Learning and Innovation: Driving continuous learning for self and team with recommendations in line with Industry trends. Driving Innovation as a DNA for self and the team. Strong knowledge of various RPA’s and AI enabled tools. Able to leverage SAP offerings and bring forward innovative solutions for CGI’s customers. Is up to date with latest SAP offerings across BTP and other streams. Can provide guidance to customers around SAP S/4HANA upgrades, Version compatibility, Best Practices.
• Cross Stream: Knowledge of cloud offerings, SAP RISE and GROW. Brings in a 360-degree view of the SAP ecosystem.
• SAP Lab: Supporting CGI’s SAP lab and ensuring the lab environment is up to date. Engaging SAP Practice community with PoC’s and giving a view of latest and greatest from SAP.
• Client Mandates: Able to support client mandates with engagements for SAP Architecture guidance, SME support and critical engagement for SAP Implementation projects.
• Bilingual would be an asset.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
• Proven experience as an SAP Basis Architect, with extensive knowledge of SAP modules, systems, and integration capabilities.
• Strong understanding of business processes and experience in transforming business requirements into technical solutions.
• Extensive experience in SAP Brownfield projects.
• Go getter approach and a proactive approach to solution design and SAP offerings.
• Deep knowledge of data architecture, database design, and integration principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and provide technical guidance in challenging situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and manage stakeholders at all levels.
• Certifications in SAP solutions and architecture frameworks are highly desirable.
