Our Ontario based client is seeking for an experienced SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) Architect Lead to join their project immediately and will run until December 2026, with possibility of an extension. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in developing a transition strategies from SAP to BDC and in architecting solutions that leverage SAP BDC capabilities. This is a remote role that requires 20% travel to client offices for key project milestones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the transition of SAP reporting to SAP BDC (Business Data Cloud).
- Act as the BDC Lead/Architect, owning the reporting transition strategy from SAP to BDC.
- Define target-state reporting architecture leveraging SAP BDC capabilities.
- Lead and advise teams on data modeling, data flows, and reporting design.
- Support migration of existing SAP reports and analytics to BDC.
- Collaborate with SAP functional, data, and analytics teams to ensure reporting alignment.
- Ensure data accuracy, performance, and governance standards are met.
- Provide architectural guidance, best practices, and documentation.
- Strong experience as an SAP Reporting Architect or BDC Lead.
- Hands-on experience with SAP BDC and SAP analytics/reporting tools.
- Deep understanding of SAP data sources and reporting frameworks.
- Experience leading reporting transitions or modern analytics initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and leadership skills.
