Our Canadian based client is seeking an experienced SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Full-Stack & Integration Developer to join their team on a full time permanent basis. The ideal candidate should have 6+ years of software development experience, including 3+ years specifically with SAP BTP with strong expertise in CAP using Node.js or Java, alongside proficiency in CDS data modelling, OData v4, and SAPUI5/Fiori Elements. Technical skills should also include JavaScript and/or TypeScript, SQL with SAP HANA Cloud, and a solid command of the SAP Integration Suite, covering Cloud Integration, API Management, and Event Mesh or event-driven architecture. A deep understanding of BTP security concepts such as XSUAA and destinations is essential, as is experience with Git-based development workflows and CI/CD pipelines. This will be a primarily remote role with expected occasional travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be Comfortable working across the full SAP BTP technology stack, including application development, APIs, integrations and user interfaces.
- Develop CAP-based applications and services.
- Build CDS data models and OData services.
- Develop side-by-side SAP extensions.
- Build APIs and services supporting SAP and non-SAP integration.
- Develop integrations using SAP Integration Suite.
- Build integration flows, mappings and API Management policies.
- Support event-driven integration scenarios using Event Mesh.
- Develop SAPUI5 and Fiori applications.
- Write unit and integration tests.
- Participate in code reviews.
- Support CI/CD and deployment pipelines.
- Prepare technical documentation and deployment guides.
- Support SIT, UAT, cutover and hypercare.
- Develop reusable components and practice accelerators.
