Our Toronto-based client is seeking an experienced SAP SD/IS-Retail Consultant contractor to join their project starting May 1st, 2025 on a 6 month contract with a chance for extension. The successful candidate will play a key role in end-to-end SAP SD/IS-Retail configuration, process optimization, and post-go-live support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, configuration, and mapping of the Order Management System (OMS) within an IS-Retail environment, ensuring seamless integration with SAP ECC.
- 5+ years of hands-on SAP SD Functional Consulting experience, with strong exposure to SAP IS-Retail.
- Proven expertise in end-to-end SAP SD configuration (sales orders, pricing, billing, delivery processing).
- Retail industry experience with knowledge of store operations, POS integration, and retail master data.
- Strong understanding of IDocs, BAPIs, and integration with MM/FI modules.
- Ability to lead workshops, gather requirements, and translate them into SAP solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define workflows, and optimize order management processes.
- Configure and customize IS-Retail functionalities to support order processing, fulfillment, and inventory synchronization.
- Develop and maintain integration mappings between OMS, ECC, and other retail systems.
- Provide expertise in full lifecycle implementation, including testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to order flows, pricing, promotions, and inventory updates.
- Ensure compliance with retail industry best practices and SAP standards.
