Our Montreal-based client is seeking a bi-lingual Senior SAP Functional Architect to join their project immediately and will run for six months, with the possibility of extension. The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience as a consultant, proficient in IS-Utilities planning, scheduling, work execution, along with at least two prior similar projects, and be able to communicate with the team in French (both spoken and written).This is a fully remote position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the SME (Subject Matter Expert) for SAP Utilities solutions.
- Define SAP-centric architectures for Work & Asset Management (WAM), Field Service (FSM), and Project Systems (PS) in Utilities.
- Outage Planning & Scheduling.
- Preventive & Corrective Maintenance.
- Resource & Crew Management (RSH)
- Meter-to-Cash & Billing (IS-U/FSCM).
- Ensure compliance with utility regulations (NERC, PHMSA, CSRD, etc.).
- SAP IS-U (Device Mgmt, Billing, DP, FSCM).
- SAP PM/EAM (Plant Maintenance, Asset Mgmt).
- SAP FSM (Field Service Mgmt) & Work Manager.
- OMS/ADMS ↔ SAP Notifications & Work Orders.
- SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for real-time dashboards.
- Streamline work order lifecycle (planning → execution → cost settlement).
- Optimize crew scheduling & dispatching (FSM + RSH labor tracking).
- Enhance asset reliability & predictive maintenance (IoT/APM integrations).
- Guide technical teams (ABAP, BTP, CPI) on integration requirements.
- Train business users and ensure smooth post-go-live support.
