Our Toronto-based client is seeking an experienced SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) Functional Lead to join their project from November 2025, until January 31, 2026, with a strong possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience, including general knowledge of SAP Logistics modules (MM, SD, WM) and hands-on SAP configuration experience in GTS. This will be a fully remote work setting with possibility of travel to the nearest client office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the workstream and participate in meetings, overlook deliverables.
- Translate business challenges in logistics and global trade into efficient, configured SAP solutions that meet requirements.
- Own the solution design for projects and improvements from initial concept and configuration through testing and successful implementation.
- Act as the highest level of functional support, guiding the AMS team to resolve complex issues and proactively improving system stability and performance.
- Foster user adoption by supporting training and change management, ensuring the business can fully leverage the SAP system.
- Develop relationships with key business users to drive the effectiveness of the SAP solution.
- Support the business and PMO in demand management and project prioritization.
- Participate in the elaboration of projects/implementations and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work with Application Management Services (AMS) teams and other partners, and lead continuous improvement and application maintenance activities.
- Experience working with third-party integrations with SAP is an asset.
- Knowledge on UML, Database requests, Agile methodology is preferred.
- Knowledge about ETL, Interfaces, APIs, Microservices is preferred.
