Our Montreal based client is seeking for an experienced SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Consultant to join their project immediately and will run for 3 to 6 months, with possibility of an extension. The ideal candidate will have exceptional experience in EWM project implementation and be capable of designing and configuring FTZ-restricted warehouse zones, as well as segregating FTZ and non-FTZ stock through system controls. This will be a fully remote work setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the full lifecycle of SAP EWM implementations, ensuring projects are delivered on time and meet business requirements.
- Architect the technical solution for Foreign-Trade Zones, including the design and configuration of FTZ-restricted storage types and bins.
- Establish robust system controls (e.g., posting block, stock status) to ensure strict compliance and segregation between FTZ and non-FTZ inventory.
- Proactively troubleshoot and resolve complex functional and process issues related to warehouse logistics and FTZ compliance.
- Translate business needs into technical design by creating comprehensive Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) for custom developments, reports, and interfaces.
- Ensure compliance, auditability, and traceability.
- Integrate inbound/outbound processes seamlessly.
- Work with customs, quality, and compliance teams.
- Build and test robust EWM process flows unique to FTZ operations.
