Our Montreal based client is seeking for an experienced SAP HCM - Spinifex Subject Matter Expert to join their project immediately and will run for 6 months, with possibility of an extension. The ideal candidate will have practical expertise in using Spinifex to migrate and validate payroll data into FI, reconcile HR and financial postings, and ensure a clean, compliant financial close. Additionally, they will possess functional knowledge of SAP HCM & Payroll and a solid understanding of FI/CO to navigate integration points effectively. This will be a fully remote work setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver data migration, integration, and enhancement projects within large-scale SAP environments.
- Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of enhancements leveraging Spinifex tools to improve the integration and data flow between SAP HCM/Payroll and Finance (FI/CO) modules.
- Utilize Spinifex to validate, cleanse, and migrate complex HCM and payroll data into FI/CO, ensuring accuracy and completeness for financial posting.
- Develop and execute reconciliation processes using Spinifex to ensure alignment between HR postings (e.g., payroll, benefits) and financial ledger accounts, resolving any discrepancies.
- Configure and optimize Spinifex solutions to support and accelerate the financial close cycle, audit requests, and regulatory compliance reporting.
- Collaborate with both HCM and Finance functional teams to gather requirements, document processes, and ensure solutions meet business needs for data integrity and reporting.
- Provide subject matter expertise and end-user support for Spinifex tools, including creating documentation and conducting knowledge transfer sessions.
- Manage data objects and project deliverables related to the Spinifex enhancement scope, adhering to timelines and quality standards within the larger project framework.
- French proficiency is an asset.
