Our Ontario based client is seeking for an experienced SAP Data Migration Lead who has gained experience working with ECC HR - Personnel Administration (PA) and Organizational Management (OM) (GPO) and SuccessFactors to join their project starting January and will run until June 2026, with possibility of an extension. The ideal candidate must have proven experience migrating SAP ECC HR - PA/OM project to a SuccessFactors Employee Central (strategy, planning, execution). They MUST hold a valid Employee Central certification. This will be a hybrid role with the exact amount of on-site work to be confirmed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and own the comprehensive data migration strategy, plan, and timeline for moving data from SAP ECC HR - PA/OM to SuccessFactors - Employee Central, including scope, sequencing, and data quality rules.
- Design and perform the extraction of employee master, organizational, and historical data from SAP ECC PA/OM, ensuring completeness and adherence to source system business rules.
- Architect and oversee the transformation logic, mapping rules, and cleansing routines to convert legacy SAP ECC data into the precise format and structure required by SuccessFactors EC.
- Manage the technical execution of data loads into SuccessFactors Employee Central using tools like Import Data Center (IDC) or Data Migration & Integration (DMI), handling staging, loads, and error resolution.
- Design and lead the validation framework, executing rigorous data reconciliation and quality checks to ensure 100% accuracy of migrated employee and organizational data post-load.
- Establish QA checkpoints and audit procedures throughout the migration lifecycle, reviewing all migration deliverables (mappings, scripts, logs) for accuracy and completeness.
- Own the data migration workstream within the overall cutover plan, leading mock migration runs and providing expert support during the final go-live migration and post-launch stabilization.
