Our Ontario based client is seeking for an experienced Senior SAP HR Data Steward to join their project starting January and will run until June 2026, with possibility of an extension. The ideal candidate must have proven experience delivering data migration from SAP ECC HR - PA/OM to SuccessFactors - Employee Central. This includes developing the data strategy and migration plan, performing hands-on extraction from SAP ECC HR - PA/OM, transforming the data into the SuccessFactors - EC format, loading it into EC, and validating the migrated data end-to-end. All candidates MUST hold a valid SAP Employee Central certification. This will be a hybrid role with the exact amount of on-site scheduled days to be confirmed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and manage the complete data migration lifecycle from SAP ECC HR - (PA/OM) to SuccessFactors Employee Central - (EC).
- Create the comprehensive data migration strategy, blueprint, and detailed project plan, including timelines, resources, risk mitigation, and rollback procedures.
- Perform hands-on extraction of HR master data (e.g., employee, organizational, job data) from SAP ECC and transform it to align with SuccessFactors EC data models, formats, and business rules.
- Execute data loads into SuccessFactors EC (using tools like Data Migration and Replication (DMR), Import Employee Data templates, etc.) and conduct rigorous end-to-end validation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
- Establish and enforce data quality standards, cleansing rules, and reconciliation processes to ensure a seamless and error-free transition.
- Act as the primary expert on SAP ECC HR - PA/OM data structures, SuccessFactors EC data requirements, and the overall migration methodology.
- Partner with HR, IT, project managers, and business teams to gather requirements, align on scope, and communicate migration progress and issues.
- Utilize and maintain in-depth knowledge validated by a current SAP Employee Central certification to ensure all work follows SAP-recommended practices and standards.
