Job Description

Our Arizona-based client is seeking an experienced SAP Finance and Controlling (FI/CO) Lead to join their project starting immediately and will run until June 2026, with a possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years of experience and a history of multiple successful S/4HANA implementations and comfortable operating at both a strategic and tactical level, with a readiness to perform hands-on tasks as required by the project. This is a remote role but requires the ability to travel to the client's office as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of the SAP S/4HANA Finance ecosystem, including General Ledger (New GL), Accounts Payable/Receivable, and Asset Accounting.
  • Architect and manage core Controlling functions such as Cost Center Accounting, Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), and Product Costing.
  • Oversee the integration of Project Systems (PS) and Joint Venture Accounting with core financial processes.
  • Ensure seamless integration between FI/CO and other SAP modules, particularly Materials Management (MM), to support Procure-to-Pay and Order-to-Cash cycles.
  • Provide expert-level support and guidance to finance business users, ensuring the stability and optimization of the SAP platform.
  • Experience in Mining ideal or alternatively Asset Intensive Industry is a must eg O+G, Utilities etc.
