Job Description

Our Toronto-based client is seeking a Senior SAP S/4 HANA Finance Lead contractor that is expected to start October 2025 and run for 2 + years, with the possibility of extension. Candidates should have previous Telecommunications experience and any S/4HANA RISE Cloud Experience will be considered a major asset. This is a fully remote position, with the possibility of some possible minimal travel required during key project milestones.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strong experience in FI/CO, Consolidations, Group Reporting.
  • Provide deep functional and technical expertise in Finance (FI) modules within SAP.
  • Ensure best practices in financial processes, compliance, and reporting.
  • Support financial integration with other SAP modules (MM, SD, CO).
  • Resolve issues related to financial postings, period-end closing, and reporting.
  • Optimize financial processes and controls.
  • Perform SAP configuration primarily in a support/leadership capacity rather than hands-on implementation.
  • Guide junior consultants and business teams on system functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve configuration-related issues.
  • CPA Expertise is a plus.
  • S/4HANA RISE Cloud Experience is an asset.
