Our Toronto based client is seeking an experienced SAP IS-U Billing Subject Matter Expert contractor join their project immediately and will run for 9 months with possibility of an extension. The ideal candidate Minimum 7+ years of experience in SAP IS-U Billing with a strong focus on rate configuration, billing schema design, and billing master data. This is a fully remote position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SAP IS-U billing processes, including end-to-end rate configuration, schema design, operand setup, and billing master data.
- Lead the billing workstream for SAP IS-U projects, ensuring delivery of high-quality solutions aligned with business requirements and industry best practices.
- Analyze and resolve complex billing-related production issues, working closely with business users and technical teams.
- Review and recommend best practices for billing configuration, schema design, and billing master data maintenance (rate categories, variants, rate types, etc.).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Device Management, FICA, CRM, etc.) to ensure seamless integration and consistency across modules.
- Support the design and testing of new rates and billing scenarios including TOU (Time-of-Use), tiered, seasonal, and promotional rates.
- Lead and support regression testing and impact analysis for changes to billing configuration or enhancements.
- Document functional specifications, configuration guides, and standard operating procedures.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior consultants and client business users.
