Our Toronto based client is seeking an experienced SAP Enterprise Architect with Utilities experience to join their project starting in January 2026 for a one-year contract with the possibility of an extension. The ideal candidate will have proven experience as an SAP Enterprise Architect with deep technical experience who has worked previously on large-scale projects and possesses strong knowledge of utilities sector processes (including electricity, metering, transmission, and distribution) on S/4HANA environments. This is a hybrid work setting, with the specific on-site days to be confirmed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrated leadership in managing multi-disciplinary SAP teams (10+ members).
- Experience integrating SAP with non-SAP systems and smart metering solutions.
- Experience leading system integrators on large projects is preferred.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and client-facing skills.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with business goals and stakeholder requirements.
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets, proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
- Champion the adoption of Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies to optimize team efficiency and project outcomes.
- Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle for SAP implementations, from planning and design to deployment and hyper-care support.
