Our Toronto based client is seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager Data Migration to join their project immediately, and will run until the end of July 2026, with possibility of an extension. The ideal candidate ideally will have 8 - 10 years of experience in large-scale SAP project management, with a dedicated focus on data migration and proven track record with SAP S/4HANA Cloud implementations, preferably greenfield projects along with expertise in data migration tools, methodologies, and best practices for complex environment, including integration system. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 on-site work days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive data migration strategy across all workstreams.
- Establish a quality assurance governance framework and manage UAT coordination with business stakeholders.
- Secure formal sign-off from stakeholders based on defined acceptance criteria.
- Lead the development and execution of the end-to-end data migration strategy from legacy systems.
- Manage the complete ETL (Extract, Transform, Load, Reconcile) process for all data objects.
- Coordinate data validation, reconciliation, and cutover planning with technical teams.
- Manage trial conversion cycles and critical path dependencies for data migration.
- Facilitate integration between testing and data migration activities across all project teams.
- Manage dependencies using detailed mapping and coordinate resource allocation.
- Establish clear communication protocols and reporting mechanisms for cross-functional teams.
