Our Ontario based client is seeking for an experienced SAP Device Management (IS/Utilities S/4HANA) Lead to join their project on a long term contract. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience designing and managing end to end Metering & Device processes in SAP IS U/S/4 Utilities. This includes expertise in device lifecycle, technical data, installation/removal, meter reading (VEE), billing determinants, disconnection/reconnection, work management handoffs, and integration with AMI/MDM and Head End Systems. This is a hybrid role requires to work on-site 4 days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the end-to-end Metering & Device processes within SAP IS-U / S/4HANA Utilities.
- Lead the functional design and configuration for the full device lifecycle, including technical data, installation, removal, disconnection, and reconnection.
- Oversee core metering operations: meter reading, validation/estimation/substitution (VEE), and billing determinants.
- Manage work management handoffs and ensure seamless process integration with field operations.
- Drive the design and execution of critical integrations with external systems (AMI, MDM, and Head-End Systems).
- Will drive solution design, ensure data quality, and establish operational excellence for high-volume metering environments.
- Develop and enforce governance frameworks for metering data integrity and process reliability.
