Our Manufacturing based client is seeking an experienced SAP Functional IBP/Forecast and Planning Expert to join their project for a 6 month contract starting in May 2025 with a good chance for an extension. This role will be to help support our client's COE/AMS operations with the ideal candidate having extensive IBP configuration, master data governance, and cross-functional experience having collaborated between planning and execution systems. This position will focus on configuring IBP and optimizing the end-to-end Forecast to Plan processes within IBP, with integration to SAP S/4HANA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead IBP System Configuration.
- Configure and optimize Demand Planning, Supply Planning, S&OP, and Inventory Optimizer modules.
- Design Key Figures, Time Profiles, and Planning Views to meet business requirements.
- Implement Forecast Models, Outlier Correction, and Statistical Forecasting.
- Manage S/4HANA Integration.
- Maintain bidirectional data flows between IBP and S/4HANA.
- Resolve integration issues for master/transactional data (e.g., sales history, planned orders).
- Ensure data consistency across planning and execution systems.
- Own Master Data Governance.
- Define planning-specific master data standards (product hierarchies, attributes).
- Collaborate with data teams to troubleshoot data quality issues.
- Document data flow dependencies between systems.
- Drive Process Improvement.
- Align IBP configurations with business planning requirements.
- Optimize S&OP workflows for cross-functional alignment.
- Provide Tier 3 support and user training for AMS teams.
