Job Description

Our Toronto based client is seeking an experienced SAP Cloud Identity Services (CIS) Architect Lead to join their project on a long term contract. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with SAP CIS and project implementations in a lead architect capacity or related roles. This will be a hybrid role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end SAP CIS project implementations, managing the full lifecycle from requirements gathering and blueprinting to go-live and post-implementation support, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
  • Design and architect scalable SAP CIS solutions that align with business processes, integrating SAP CIS with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP CRM) and third-party systems.
  • Conduct business process analysis and gap identification, collaborating with stakeholders to map current processes against SAP CIS best practices and proposing optimized solutions.
  • Define technical specifications and guide development teams, translating business requirements into detailed specs and leading teams in configuring, customizing, and enhancing the SAP CIS platform using ABAP, BAPIs, and user exits.
  • Manage system integration and data migration, overseeing integration with upstream/downstream systems (e.g., billing, ERP, middleware) and ensuring seamless data migration with robust cleansing, validation, and integrity strategies.
  • Establish governance, testing, and deployment frameworks, defining quality assurance standards, leading system testing (unit, integration, UAT), managing cutover activities, and ensuring smooth deployment with minimal business disruption.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior architects, functional consultants, and developers, conducting knowledge transfer sessions and serving as the primary escalation point for all technical and architectural decisions throughout the project lifecycle.
