Our Vancouver based client is seeking for an experienced SAP Convergent Invoicing (CI) Consultant to join their project immediately and will run until February 2027, with possibility of an extension. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands on expertise in end-to-end SAP Convergent Invoicing configuration and proven expertise in its integration with Convergent Charging and FICA along with ability to architect the billing flow for complex product bundles, usage-based models, and promotions ensuring seamless performance from order through to financial posting. This will be a fully remote work setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end configuration and management of SAP Convergent Invoicing (CI), including providers, consumers, billing processes, and billable/consumption item management.
- Design and manage high-volume billing operations, ensuring efficient integration between CI-ISCD and FICA for accurate financial posting.
- Architect and oversee the integration points between Convergent Charging (CC), CRM/order management systems (e.g., Hybris/SOM), and the CI billing engine.
- Translate complex commercial offerings including bundled products, subscription models, usage-based charges, and promotional discounts into precise billing configurations.
- Map and optimize the end-to-end order-to-bill flow, ensuring subscription orders correctly trigger billing plans and translate into chargeable items.
- Manage the critical CC-to-CI integration, including charge master data consistency, handling of rerating and adjustments, and performance tuning for high-volume data flows.
- Ensure robust FICA integration for all financial operations, including payment processing, dunning, collections, and external tax system (e.g., Vertex, Avalara) interfaces.
