Our Montreal based client is seeking an experienced SAP Cutover Manager to join their project starting immediately and will run for 6 months. This will be primarily a remote work setting with occasional travel required to the client site (once a month).

• The ideal candidate will collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to ensure seamless data migration, system readiness, risk mitigation, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Develop and Own the Cutover Plan:
  Design and maintain a detailed cutover plan, covering pre-cutover, execution, and post-cutover activities.
  Define milestones, dependencies, and resource requirements for a successful transition.
  Establish and document cutover governance, escalation processes, and contingency plans.
• Coordinate Business & IT Readiness:
  Align business and IT teams on cutover expectations and responsibilities.
  Ensure end-users are adequately trained and prepared for system go-live.
  Conduct cutover readiness assessments, checkpoints, and sign-offs.
• Manage Data Migration & Validation:
  Work closely with Data Migration teams to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  Oversee data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
  Establish validation checkpoints to confirm successful data migration.
• Orchestrate Cutover Execution & Risk Management:
  Lead cross-functional teams in executing the cutover plan with minimal business disruption.
  Monitor and mitigate cutover risks, ensuring quick resolution of issues.
  Facilitate real-time communication and decision-making during cutover.
  Post-Go-Live Support & Stabilization:
  Oversee hypercare activities, ensuring smooth business operations post-cutover.
  Track and resolve post-go-live issues, escalating where necessary.
  Ensure knowledge transfer and documentation for ongoing system support.
