Our Toronto/Montreal based client is seeking an experienced SAP Data Migration Program Developer contractor immediately for a 12 month contract. This will be a hybrid work setting, with occasional on-site work required.
- The ideal candidate will play a vital role in building and transforming the way the client converts and query data for accuracy and integrity.
- The developer will work in collaboration with the Data Governance team to ensure that all data related to within the landscape are mapped properly, documented for technical specifications and load programs designed per business requirements in our systems.
- Medium-level expertise in master data management within an ERP system (e.g., SAP).
- Design, develop, customize SAP data services pre-built RDS jobs using standard IDOCS/BAPI/Staging tables.
- Creating Migration project in S4 HANA to load in SAP target system.
- Loading data using S4 Hana Migration cockpit Staging tables and xml templates.
- Responsible to create alias for S4 Hana staging tables to use for different load environment.
- Design and create cleansing jobs to clean up data in the staging phase before the load in SAP.
- Running RDS LKP tables from SAP DS.
- Responsible to create Validation and reconciliation reports.
- Responsible to manage end to end migration jobs from development to production.
- Building end to end ETL jobs to support sap data migration project from legacy to different sap targets.
- Creating project, data store, local repository and different types of data flow case, merge, validation, map, row generation, ABAP flow depend on the requirement in the ETL process.
- Attend technical meeting to discuss pending issues, blockers and provide global status.
- Supporting data designer during the load and debugging errors in SAP.
- Documenting technical specification document and knowledge transfer documents for end-to-end ETL job execution.
- Participate on technical preparation activities for Mock and cutover.
- Resolving defects and adjusting rules based on new requirement and change request.
- Follow Code promotion process between environments.
- Strong team player with the ability to work in a collaborative manner and interact with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong documentation skills.
- Strong technical background and ability to learn complex products and testing methodologies quickly as well as strong and detail-oriented troubleshooting skills.
