Our Ottawa based client is seeking experienced SAP Delivery Lead (Fit to Standard) to join their project on a long term contract. The ideal candidates should have Canadian security clearance of at least Reliability level, with Secret preferred. This will be a hybrid role with the exact amount of on-site scheduled days to be confirmed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Fit-to-Standard workshops to map business needs to SAP best practices.
- Enforce standardization, minimizing customizations and scope creep.
- Manage end-to-end delivery timelines, milestones, and cross-workstream dependencies.
- Coordinate functional, technical, and integration teams under the Fit-to-Standard principle.
- Oversee configuration of standard SAP processes (SAP S/4HANA).
- Conduct gap analysis and approve only justified deviations.
- Govern change requests to prevent scope expansion.
- Lead testing (unit, integration, UAT) using SAP Activate methodology.
- Act as escalation point for delivery risks and issues.
- Ensure cutover, go-live, and hyper care readiness.
