Our Ottawa based client is seeking an experienced SAP ECC Funds Management / SAP S/4HANA Budget Control System (BCS) to join their project immediately, and will run until March 2026, with possibility of an extension. The ideal candidate will be a funds management expert with excellent, polished communication skills. This will be a remote role. However, travel is expected during workshops for key project milestones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading/Participating in explore workshops.
- Develop, implement, and monitor long-term investment strategies and policies for various funds.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, due diligence, and risk assessment for potential investments.
- Perform portfolio management, including asset allocation, rebalancing, and performance attribution analysis.
- Oversee cash flow management, forecasting, and liquidity requirements to meet fund objectives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for investors, clients, and fund boards, building and maintaining strong, trusted relationships.
- Prepare and deliver clear, compelling, and polished presentations and reports on fund performance, market outlook, and strategy.
- Articulate complex investment concepts and portfolio decisions to both sophisticated and non-technical audiences.
- Proactively communicate with stakeholders regarding market events, risks, and opportunities impacting the fund.
- Oversee the operational aspects of the fund, working closely with internal teams (legal, compliance, operations) and external service providers.
- Ensure all fund activities adhere to regulatory requirements and internal compliance policies.
- Lead the creation and distribution of detailed investor communications, including quarterly letters and ad-hoc updates.
- Municipal/Public experience a large asset but not mandatory.
