Job Description

Our Ontario based client is seeking an experienced SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and IS-U Consultant to join their project immediately and will run for 6 months with possibility of an extension. The ideal candidate brings 8 + years of SAP functional consulting experience, with deep expertise in SAP EAM work management configuration with strong background in the utility sector specifically Power, Electric, Water, or Gas. The role requires hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Utilities environments, along with a solid understanding of customer service and meter-to-cash processes. This will be a fully remote work setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support outage management processes and integrations with ADMS (Advanced Distribution Management Systems).
  • Configure and support SAP EAM work management processes, including: Service Notifications, Service Orders, Work Management functionality
  • Support utility customer service and field service processes including: Meter installations, Meter exchanges, Meter removal, Service disconnections, Service reconnections
  • Collaborate with field operations teams to facilitate integration between SAP and field mobility solutions.
  • Support the creation and transmission of service notifications from SAP to field systems and manage updates received from field technicians.
  • Perform post-processing activities within SAP based on field execution results.
  • Assist with trouble call management and related utility operational processes.
  • Work closely with Device Management teams and understand the end-to-end integration points between work management and device management processes.
  • Gather business requirements, conduct solution design workshops, and provide functional recommendations aligned with utility industry best practices.
  • Support testing, defect resolution, user training, and production support activities.
  • Prior involvement in outage management and field workforce initiatives is an asset.
