Job Description

Our global based client is seeking an experienced SAP Extended Warehouse Management (eWM) Consultant to join their project immediately and will run for 3 months with possibility of an extension. The ideal candidate should have extensive, holistic eWM experience in the Retail industry, with a proven track record of improving processes and system usage. This will be a fully remote work setting. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Experience working in SAP ECC environments; exposure to or project experience in S/4HANA (Embedded or Decentralized EWM) strongly preferred.
  • Partner closely with client stakeholders to assess current-state warehouse processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend practical optimization strategies.
  • Lead workshops and working sessions to analyze process gaps, pain points, and system usage challenges across inbound, outbound, internal movements, and inventory management.
  • Perform hands-on configuration and solution adjustments within EWM to address operational bottlenecks and improve system utilization.
  • Propose and help define a future-state roadmap, including process improvements, system enhancements, and best-practice alignment.
  • Provide guidance on warehouse execution, RF framework, slotting, picking strategies, replenishment, and integration touchpoints with MM/SD.
  • Support knowledge transfer and collaborate side-by-side with the existing team to ensure sustainable process adoption.
  • Strong communication skills required to engage business users and technical teams in a cross-regional (South American) project environment.
  • Consultant should demonstrate a holistic background across supply chain processes, not purely technical, but capable of connecting warehouse operations to upstream and downstream impacts.
