Job Description

Our Toronto based client is seeking an experienced SAP FI -GL & COA contractor to join their project starting immediately and will run for 3-6 months with a strong likelihood for a longer extension. This will be a hybrid work setting with 3 day's of on-site work required. 

  • The ideal candidates will have a strong background in SAP S/4 Finance (GL accounting) configuration and processing, as well as a deep understanding of enterprise data structures and financial reporting in a multi-GAAP environment.
  • The candidate  will have hands-on experience in end-to-end implementation, production support, and error handling for GL Accounting processes.
  • The candidate will ideally have experience in SAP GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance).
  • Configure and manage GL Accounting processes and enterprise data structures in SAP S/4 HANA.
  • Handle standard and custom chart of accounts, including data mapping and multi-GAAP GL-based financial reporting using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and CDS views.
  • Configure and process Average Daily Balance (ADB) and multi-currency accounting.
  • Provide end-to-end implementation and production support, including error resolution and system monitoring.
  • Assist business users with system navigation, reporting, and issue troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for enhancement and customization tasks.
  • Support integration with upstream and downstream non-SAP systems.
  • Hands-on expertise in GL Accounting Configuration and Accounting Process.
  • Clear understanding of enterprise data structure in S/4 HANA Finance.
  • Proficiency in data mapping and financial reporting using SAC and CDS views.
  • Deep knowledge of ADB and multi-currency accounting configurations.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with incident/ticket management and system performance monitoring.
