Our Montreal based client is seeking an experienced SAP FI/CO Specialist to join their project immediately for a 12 month contract with potential for extension. This will be a hybrid work setting with the exact number of on-site and remote days to be confirmed. There will be occasional travel to some of the clients US locations on an as need to be basis.
- The FICO Specialist would be working with the IT and the Finance Teams to ensure smooth running of the day-to-day business.
- Prior experience in logistics OR aerospace / aviation / aircraft maintenance is an asset.
- The FICO Specialist, you would need to understand the business processes, ensuring they are lean, standardized and aligned with current industry’s best practices.
- The candidate would translate the business ideas and requirements into SAP terminology, support business case development and cost benefit analysis.
- Support in the optimization and redesign of end-to-end (E2E) processes.
- Introduce and formulate new business ideas (innovations), develop trends and optimize proposals for lean, user-friendly processes (SAP BPI, BPM).
- Adhere to standards and striving for consolidation and harmonization of processes.
- Identify requirements, interdependencies, dependencies and gaps in existing functionalities in close cooperation with Business Process Owner, Business Analyst and Business Application Expert.
- Verify the potential impact on the respective (existing) processes and functionalities.
- Monitor and analyze business processes.
- Design, test, shape and implement changes in business processes.
- Create business cases and support the prioritization process for requirements (in coordination with the Business Relationship Manager).
- Support cost-benefit analyses and budget planning.
- Liaise with the COE team and AMS team on issue resolution.
- Collaborate with the business and technical SMEs.
