Our Ottawa based client is seeking an experienced SAP Finance (FI) Consultant with good HCM experience to join their project immediately and will run until January 2027, with possibility of an extension. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in SAP Finance (FI/CO), along with experience in SAP transformation or migration projects and knowledge of SAP HCM, including Finance/HCM integration points. This will be a fully remote work setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct options analysis and support prototype development related to the transition from Business Areas to Profit Centers and Segments, including recommendations for future-state organizational structures.
- Analyze and develop migration strategies for moving from Internal Orders (IOs) to WBS Elements, including integration with reservation management processes.
- Assess and define additional table copy requirements supporting HCM and Finance data migration activities.
- Configure, test, and support HCM employee replication to SAP S/4HANA Business Partners and SU01 user administration.
- Provide expertise on Finance and HCM integration points, including: Payroll posting processes, Banking integrations, Cheque printing requirements
- Support broader Finance-related project activities and enhancements as capacity permits.
- Experience with SAP Business Partner concepts and S/4HANA environments. CVI and for employees.
- Understanding of organizational structures including Profit Centers, Segments, and Business Areas.
- Experience with Internal Orders, WBS Elements, and related financial controlling processes.
- Strong analytical, configuration, testing, and documentation skills.
Nice to Have:
- Previous experience supporting SAP S/4HANA conversion or transformation initiatives.
- Experience with SAP HCM employee replication and user provisioning processes.
- Public sector experience.
