Our Toronto based client is seeking for an experienced SAP Finance and Controlling (FI/CO) Consultant to join their project immediately, and will run for 6 months, with possibility of an extension. The ideal candidate will have ideally gained experience in ECC to S/4HANA conversion implementation. This is a hybrid role, with the exact number of on-site days to be confirmed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze client business processes and translate requirements into effective FI/CO system design.
- Configure and customize the FI module (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting).
- Lead and configure the FI/CO modules within the S/4HANA environment, leveraging new functionalities like the Universal Journal (ACDOCA) and embedded analytics.
- Manage the data migration for financial master and transactional data (e.g., Cost Centers, GL Accounts, Open Items) from ECC to S/4HANA, ensuring data integrity and completeness.
- Analyze and redesign financial business processes to align with S/4HANA best practices, such as simplifying the coding block and leveraging new asset accounting processes.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for the FI/CO workstream, including unit testing, integration testing with SD/MM, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
